For two weeks in June, young riders converged on the Stephens College Equestrian Center, one of Columbia’s notable historic properties, for the College’s annual Summer Riding program. Campers learned the basics of riding, horse care and safety from Stephens equestrian program faculty with assistance from current students.

On May 10, the official Stephens College Class of 2019 photo (shown above) was taken during rehearsal for the Undergraduate Commencement ceremony, which took place the next day on Stephens’ Historic Quadrangle for the first time in decades. The Graduate & Online Commencement ceremony was held in the Kimball Ballroom of Lela Raney Wood Hall on May 10 as well. Over 130 degrees were awarded during the two ceremonies on May 10-11.
