Shelly Romero ’17 is an assistant editor at Scholastic. She graduated from Stephens College with a bachelor’s degree in English and attended the 2017 NYU Summer Publishing Institute. A proud first-gen Honduran-American, she is a member of Latinx in Publishing, People of Color in Publishing, and a junior mentor for Representation Matters Mentorship Program.
After graduating from Stephens, Paige Burton-Argo '11 worked for New Boston Creative Group, LLC, an integrated marketing and communications agency in Manhattan, Kansas. Burton-Argo started as a copywriter and eventually worked as director of content development and director of operations.
Renée Reed-Miller '02 is the concept pioneer of an integrative, trauma-informed community engagement process called Thanks In Advance (TIA). She uses expressive arts to promote trauma-sensitive, healing-centered practices in families, organizations and communities.
