Spring 2020 Commencement

Due to guidance and restrictions related to the coronavirus (COVID-19), Stephens College has made the decision to move commencement ceremonies from early May to late August. All other aspects of our Commencement celebration will remain consistent with tradition.

We made you a promise that you will have Commencement: you deserve it. It is our sincere hope that this change will allow you and your loved ones to celebrate this special day together. We can't wait to see you back on campus!

Graduate and Online Commencement: Friday, Aug. 28, 2020

6 p.m. at the Kimball Ballroom of Lela Raney Wood Hall

Tickets are not necessary for this event! All families and friends of the graduates are encouraged to attend.

Undergraduate Commencement: Saturday, Aug. 29, 2020

11 a.m. at the Missouri Theatre

The Undergraduate Commencement at the Missouri Theatre will be a ticketed event. All seniors were asked to indicate how many tickets they need for the event, and will be provided the number of tickets they requested. The total number of attendees can be accommodated in the Missouri Theatre.
Graduating seniors also will have the opportunity to present their work — their fashion designs, films, research posters/papers, publications and capstone presentations — to an audience of friends and family at an all-day undergraduate Senior Showcase, to take place the weekend of Commencement. More details to follow.
