The pet-friendliest campus on the planet.
For more than 10 years, Stephens College has been welcoming cats, dogs, birds and other pet friends to campus.
Here, we treat pets like royalty. Come to the President’s office and pick up a doggy treat! Think you have the cutest cat ever? Dress him up and enter our pet costume parade during Halloween! Stephens is your home-away-from-home, and that means your pet is welcome here, too.
Bringing Your Pet
Whether you’re a new or current student wanting to bring or foster a pet on campus, review the Pet Program policies and register your pet!
Our Pet Fostering Program
Become a foster pet parent through our one-of-a-kind fostering program. We’ve teamed up with a local no-kill shelter to let you prepare a dog or cat for a “forever home.” The program includes training, health improvement and nurturing the pet back to an adoptable condition and may include scholarship opportunities. Email [email protected] for more information.

Studies show that having a pet on campus eases the transition to college. Just ask Ellie. She helps her student make new friends.

Cats love campus, too.

Pet parades. Costume contests. Pet trick performances. We have fun here, and pets are welcome to join the party!
