Dating back to 1899, the Stephens College Performing Arts program offers
women an unparalleled experience. Designed to create a realistic learning
experience, a select number of male students are chosen each year to
participate in the program.
Students study in the School of Performing Arts, which capitalizes on the College’s performing arts and mass media strengths. The school integrates the study of film, theatre, dance, music, television and radio. Students who graduate from the Performing Arts school are equipped to assume positions in the entertainment industry as actresses and actors, screen writers and playwrights, filmmakers, digital film editors, set designers (film and theatre), and other related professional roles.
