Stephens College Nursing is thrilled to announce a significant milestone in its commitment to excellence in nursing education.

The nursing program has been granted accreditation by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), marking a national recognition of the program's exceptional quality and integrity.

The accreditation process, a voluntary and rigorous undertaking, reflects Stephens College Nursing's dedication to maintaining high standards and fostering continuous growth and improvement. The achievement is a testament to the substantial time and effort invested by the administration, faculty, and students.

"We are entering an exciting era for Stephens College Nursing," said Noreen M. Houck, Ph.D., RN, Founding Nursing Program Director. "This accreditation from CCNE serves as a benchmark of our program's quality and underscores our unwavering commitment to providing an outstanding education for our students."

The recognition comes after a thorough evaluation of the program's curriculum, faculty qualifications, and overall educational effectiveness. Achieving CCNE accreditation is a significant accomplishment that enhances the credibility and value of the nursing program. This accreditation is also retroactive, meaning that all graduates of the program to date have now attended a CCNE accredited program.

In addition to this achievement, Stephens College Nursing is proud to announce a remarkable feat – a 100% pass rate for the first graduating class on their NCLEX licensing exam, as well as a 100% employment rate. These outstanding accomplishments reflect the program's commitment to preparing highly competent and successful nursing professionals and our students' commitment to their own success.

Dr. Houck expressed her gratitude, stating, "I want to extend my sincere thanks to the administration, faculty, and students who dedicated their time and effort to make these achievements possible. This success is a collective effort, and we celebrate it together."

As the program continues to grow and thrive, Stephens College Nursing encourages the community to share this remarkable news and extend the invitation to aspiring nurses to consider the exceptional educational experience offered at Stephens College.
