Rep. Pam Byrnes is serving her third term in the Michigan House of Representatives. As Chair of the House Transportation Committee, Byrnes focuses on the development of Michigan's mass transit systems and improvement of the state’s infrastructure. Rep. Kathy Hawken was elected to the North Dakota House of Representatives in 1996 and currently serves on the Appropriations Committee. She also is on the Budget Section and Higher Education interim committees.
With support from the Stephens College Alumnae Association Board, the Women in Civic Leadership Lecture Series highlights Stephens College alumnae with careers in federal, state or local government, international relations or military service.

To pass the time before their wedding they become enmeshed in playing a trick on their friends Beatrice and Benedick. It will eventually, of course, work out, but the riot of misunderstanding and misplaced passions makes for a wonderful evening of theatre.
