Starkle Dream Up. Stephens College

Two students play outside with a dog.

The pet-friendliest campus on the planet.

For more than 10 years, Stephens College has been welcoming cats, dogs, birds and other pet friends to campus. Today, Stephens is considered one of the pet-friendliest campuses in the country.

Here, we treat pets like royalty. Come to the President's office and pick up a doggy treat! Or reward her with a Stephens College toy from our on-campus bookstore. Think you have the cutest cat ever? Dress him up and enter our pet costume parade during Halloween!

And if you don't want to bring a pet from home but still want the advantages of coming home to a furry friend, consider becoming a foster parent. We've teamed up with a local no-kill shelter to let you prepare a dog or cat for a “forever home.” The program includes training, health improvement and nurturing the pet back to an adoptable condition, and may include scholarship opportunities.
