“Women, Activism, & the Arts,” will once again takeover Gallery 717 for the month of November.
Dr. Ann Breidenbach’s women’s studies class, “Women, Activism, & the Arts,” will once again takeover Gallery 717. Join them for the grand opening of their exhibit on Tuesday, November 7, at 5:30 p.m.
The Tiny Gallery is located at 717 Westport Drive and the Stephens students' art will be on display until at least the end of November.
MU teaching professor and Assistant Dean of Teacher Education Laurie Kingsley and her husband, Paul Wagner, created Gallery 717 as a “free little art gallery” in their yard in 2021 to bring joy to the community. It’s been home to many exhibits since with contributors from all over the world, including several exhibits from Stephens classes and students. Students this semester made miniature art addressing various women’s issues.
