Beginning in the fall of 2024, The Stephens Promise program will provide up to four years of free tuition for full-time students whose annual adjusted family income is less than $75,000, a cap that reflects Missouri’s median family income of $71,520.

To qualify for The Stephens Promise, students must have a GPA of 3.3 or greater, be residential students, and file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) every year. The program will be available to all current, new and transfer undergraduate students who meet the criteria.

For many students, the Stephens Promise means they could graduate from college debt-free.

"We are delivering on our promise that students and families who need to take on college debt won’t have to,” said President Dianne Lynch.
