In September, the complete cast was announced for the third touring season of the First National Tour of To Kill a Mockingbird.

Stephens School of Creative and Performing Arts (now the Conservatory for the Performing Arts) alum, Mariah Lee '13, has been cast as MAYELLA EWELL in the third touring season of the First National Tour of To Kill a Mockingbird, Academy Award® winner Aaron Sorkin’s new play, directed by Tony winner Bartlett Sher and based on Harper Lee’s classic novel.

Mariah returns to Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird after making her Broadway debut with the company in 2019. This is the third season of the production in a multi-year national tour across North America, with 41 cities on the schedule.

Graduating with her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Stephens College in 2013, Mariah still comes "home" sometimes between tour stops. Just last week, even in the midst of a prominent national tour, she stopped by campus and sat in on a class with the legendary Craig Carnelia (a Guest Artist in Acting in the Conservatory this fall), where she interacted with current students and visited with faculty.

We love it when our incredible (and incredibly accomplished) alums come back to see us and share their experience. It was so good to see you, Mariah!
