What Happens When I Report?
Filing a report can be a difficult step, but the Title IX office is available to answer all of your questions.
Reports submitted online are sent directly and confidentially to the Title IX Coordinator.
Once a report is received, the Equity + Compliance Team will reach out to the Complainant to discuss their rights and options as well as any privacy considerations. That individual decides whether to file a formal complaint or seek support and remedy from the College. If a claim is pursued, the College will launch an investigation into the matter, stop the harassment and prevent its recurrence.
In conjunction with other campus resources, the Title IX office strives to provide all parties with the support they need, including medical care, counseling and advocacy. The College’s goal is to ensure that students and employees are safe and not subject to further harassment or retaliation.
