We have traditional residential halls, special housing communities, apartment-style suites and options for single-person through four-person rooms and suites—all with residential advisers. We also have pet-friendly housing and halls where pets are not allowed.
Columbia Hall, recently renovated, offers two- and four-bedroom apartments. Each apartment is fully furnished, air-conditioned and includes a kitchen with refrigerator, stove and a sink, as well as a private bath. Laundry facilities are provided on each floor. Columbia is a pet-free hall.
The suite-style rooms in Pillsbury feature ceiling fans and hardwood floors. Students can opt for single or double occupancy. Pillsbury includes both pet floors and pet-free floors.
The building is named for Mr. and Mrs. E.S. Pillsbury in recognition of their contributions to the College. Mrs. Pillsbury was a long-time member of our Board of Trustees.
Prunty Hall houses students who bring pets with the second floor reserved for Kappa Delta sorority. Prunty, named after former dean Merle Prunty, provides balconies and study lounges. Residents share community bathrooms, and students can choose between single and double occupancy.
Searcy Hall, historically known as Pet Central, is entirely pet-friendly. Searcy features balconies and cozy lounges on each floor that are perfect study spots. The hall, named after beloved former professor Laura Searcy, is open to any student, and residents share community bathrooms. Students can opt for single or double occupancy.
Named for its unique architecture, Tower Hall offers suite-style rooms, complete with central heating and air conditioning. Tower is entirely pet-friendly. Residents can relax or watch television in spacious lounges. Students can choose between double and single occupancy. Tower also offers apartments.
The recently renovated Wood Hall features one- and two-bedroom units air-conditioned and fully furnished. Each floor has a community kitchen and common areas. Wood, which is a pet-free residence hall, is named for former Stephens College President James Madison Wood.
