Welcome to Stephens Now!
Stephens Now is an all-encompassing campus magazine with riveting stories, informative updates, and stunning visuals from faculty, staff, current students and alumni. It is released twice a year with a Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter issue.
The first issue came out in Spring/Summer 2022, and President Dianne Lynch had this to say about it:
Welcome to the first issue of Stephens Now. Here on our historic and beautiful campus, the close of the semester brings final curtains and capstone presentations, late-night study sessions and lasting memories. Many students have already headed off to summer jobs and internships, while others will remain on campus for Nursing classes, our summer theatre intensive, and our film production. As we close out another exciting and inspiring academic year, we are energetically planning for the start of the new one in August.
You will find in this issue a memorable celebration of achievement and success, not only of our students but of the faculty who educate them and the alumnae who inspire them. You will be reminded yet again of our tradition of academic and artistic excellence, and of the extraordinary philanthropists who continue to support their beloved Stephens. You'll hear about our plans for reimagining Stephens, consistent with our long tradition of innovation and curricular currency. And you will see in certain stories and captions that we have expanded our nouns to include the term "alumni" - recognizing that Stephens for more than 40 years admitted males to its Performing Arts programs and now does so again.
I hope you will recognize with the pride of ownership that Stephens continues to prepare students for the lives that await them - just as she has since 1833.
