The Stephens College Equestrian Studies program has been recognized nationally once again. One of Stephens’ horses, Far Away Crazy Cat (also known as CC) has been named the American Saddlebred Horse Association’s National High Point Champion in her division for 2018.

“This is a huge honor as this is not a regional but more importantly a national award for horses that compete in CC’s division, said Assistant Professor Kelly Hulse, who accepted the award at the 2019 UPHA/ASHA Convention. “CC has been shown this year by junior Ellen Erchul and has competed with enormous success at all the competitions we have attended.”
