In light of the Stay-At-Home order issued by the City of Columbia for March 25-April 24, Stephens College announces that its on-campus operations will remain closed through the end of the spring semester. Stephens has already significantly limited on-campus work to essential employees with most offices working remotely to teach and serve students.
All classes will continue to be taught online. Commencement ceremonies have been postponed from early May to Aug. 28 and 29.
“These are unprecedented times,” said Dr. Dianne Lynch, Stephens College president, in a March 25 message to employees. “But we are Stephens College. We are family. We are strong. And we are here for you — virtually though it may need to be.”
No cases of COVID-19 have been reported within the Stephens community.
Students and their families are encouraged to visit the Stephens Alert page for answers to frequently asked questions and continued updates.
