Stephens College is pleased to announce that students in the Dance program will join Theatre program students at Okoboji Summer Theatre (OST) in Spirit Lake, Iowa, for summer one of their three-year, two-summer B.F.A. program.

Even before auditions in mid-October, Carol Schuberg was working to prepare performing arts students for the demands of “Anything Goes,” Cole Porter’s fabulous and funny musical extravaganza that opens Dec. 1 in the Macklanburg Playhouse.

Two visiting guest artists join performing arts faculty

Two outstanding visiting guest artists have joined the faculty this academic year in the School of Creative and Performing Arts. Each artist will stay one semester and teach technique classes in all dance styles. The first to arrive is Carol Schuberg, a seasoned educator who will not only teach dance classes, but work as the choreographer on “Anything Goes,” which will show at the Macklanburg Playhouse in early December.
