Stephens College graduate Delainey Phillips named Constance W. McMillin Fellow

*Delainey Phillips ’18*, a recent graduate of the Stephens College theatre program and the School of Creative and Performing Arts, has been selected as the Constance W. McMillin Fellow for the 2018-19 theatrical season. The fellowship is funded by Constance McMillin ’59. McMillin is a long-term supporter of both Stephens and Theater Works, which is located in Peoria, Ariz., where she now makes her home.

Stephens College digital filmmaking students took first and second place in the annual Gimme Truth! competition that is part of True/False, the international documentary film festival held in Columbia every spring. For the game show-style competition, filmmakers must create a film that is entirely true or entirely false.

Stephens duo receives prestigious YMA Fashion Scholarship Fund scholarships

Two Stephens College fashion students—one for the second consecutive year—are among the 226 recipients nationwide of the highly competitive 2018 YMA Fashion Scholarship Fund (FSF) scholarships. Each student will receive $5,000 from the YMA FSF, which is the fashion industry’s leading educational nonprofit, granting the largest sum of money and total number of scholarships.
