New Animal Behavior degree program launches Fall 2024!

Stephens College proudly announces the launch of a pioneering Animal Behavior degree program, offering students an unparalleled opportunity to delve into the intricacies of animal psychology, cognition, and behavior. 

This innovative program, designed to meet the growing demand for professionals skilled in understanding and working with animals, will equip students with a comprehensive understanding of animal behavior across various species. With a curriculum blending theoretical knowledge and practical application, students will explore topics such as animal communication, social behavior, cognition, and welfare.

The Animal Behavior degree program at Stephens College will provide students with hands-on learning experiences, including internships, research opportunities, and fieldwork, allowing them to gain practical skills and insights into the complexities of animal behavior. Graduates will be prepared for diverse career paths in fields such as animal training, wildlife conservation, research, animal-assisted activities, and more.
