  • Brian has served as the vice president of enrollment at four institutions over the past 17 years.  He is a first-generation college student from inner-city Gary, Indiana. He has a B.A. in Theatre from the University of Dayton, an M.A. in Theatre Arts from the University of Minnesota, and a Ph.D. in Theatre from Bowling Green State University with postdoctoral work at Harvard University. Brian is a Fulbright Scholar (Taiwan 2003) and a Fulbright Scholar Alumni Ambassador. He is a full member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society.

  • Born and raised in the Twin Cities, Minnesota, Sally received her B.A. in American Sign Language interpreting, American Sign Language studies, and communications with a concentration in broadcast journalism, and a Master of Business Administration from William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri. She passionately believes in providing an environment of knowledge and support to students and their families as they transition to life after high school, and is excited to be a part of the excellent opportunities Stephens provides for their students! Sally loves to read, run, craft, and spend time with her nieces and nephew.

  • Donna Baldwin is a mid-Missouri native. She has been a part of the Stephens College Admissions team for twenty years. Donna enjoys Mizzou football and basketball, spending time going antiquing, working on home improvement projects, going to concerts and spending time with her friends and family. She dreams of one day living on the beach; however, in the meantime you will find her there on vacation!

  • Katie graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Truman State University in 2015. She is currently a student at Stephens in the Master of Education in Counseling program. When she isn’t busy recruiting future Stephens women or studying for her counseling degree, Katie enjoys exploring Columbia’s hiking trails, playing flute in the Columbia Community Band and trying out local coffee shops. Katie loves sharing with prospective students the fun things to do in Columbia, but most importantly how a Stephens education can truly help them achieve their dreams.

    Alex grew up in Omaha, Nebraska, but moved to Columbia, Missouri, for school. In the last five years, Alex has volunteered with the True/False Film Festival, biked nearly all of Columbia’s vast trail system, and served on the leadership team of the OneMic Poetry Collective. Alex graduated with a B.A. in Studio Art with a minor in Education. Alex is an active artist, creating and showing her art around Columbia, and furthers her passion for education as an admissions counselor for Stephens College. Alex’s favorite parts of Stephens include the Costume Archive, performing arts events, Stephens Life magazine, and the annual student designer fashion show.

  • Madison graduated from Stephens College in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development. She currently is a graduate student at Stephens in the Master of Education in Counseling program. Her entire family is proudly associated with Stephens: both of Madison’s parents attended Stephens and graduated in 1986, and her younger sister recently graduated in 2019. Madison was the Class of 2017 President at Stephens and was involved in several other student organizations. Madison loves that she is able to share her own Stephens experiences with prospective students and show them why attending a women’s college is so great.

  • Dakarayi graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Central Methodist University in 2015. He is a recent graduate of the Columbia College Master of Business Administration program in 2018. Dakarayi is passionate about working and building relationships with students. A native of Zimbabwe, Dakarayi is an advocate of learning about and embracing the different cultures you’ll encounter in the Columbia community. In his spare time he likes to watch and play soccer with friends or hike the various trails in Columbia.

  • Sydney grew up in Libertyville, Illinois, before graduating with a degree in elementary education from the University of Missouri in 2017. In college, Sydney was involved in Greek Life, Residential Life and Mizzou Alternative Breaks. After graduating, she taught fifth grade for a year before returning to higher education. Sydney knew she wanted to work at Stephens because of its strong sense of community and excellent academic programs! When not talking to prospective students, you’ll find Sydney eating pizza at Shakespeare’s, attempting a DIY project, or watching Veronica Mars.

  • Xander is a strong proponent of education, and specifically a Stephens College education.  He received his bachelor’s degree from Truman State with a double major in English and theatre and a Spanish minor. His first master’s is in creative writing from the University of Southern California. He earned his Masters of Education in Counseling from Stephens College in 2016. Xander is also an advocate of traveling as much and as often as you can (he’s been to Guatemala, Spain, South Africa, New Zealand, El Salvador, Ireland, South Korea, and The Gambia among many others) and will happily connect you with the Stephens study abroad office. Xander is a nine year veteran of the admissions office and loves working with transfer students. He has also stayed active on campus by spending time as the head soccer coach, teaching composition classes, and acting in students’ films and plays. He is proud to be one of the few honorary “Stephens Men”!

  • Born in Kirksville, Missouri, Chelsee moved to Columbia in 2017 after receiving her B.A. in English from Truman State University, and loves being a part of the Stephens College community. Chelsee enjoys watching movies (her favorite being Jurassic Park), following dogs on Instagram, traveling with her boyfriend, and trying out new recipes to cook. Though Chelsee is more behind-the-scenes in the Admissions Office, she loves getting the chance to talk with those who stop by!

  • Toya is originally from St. Louis, Missouri, and graduated from Lindenwood University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in communication. Toya has more than thirteen years of experience in higher education and loves to see the success of the students from application to graduation. During her spare time she enjoys creating custom art for her home and spending time with her grandchildren.
