The Study Abroad Coordinator is always available to help you understand your options and opportunities. All it takes is some planning. The process of selection to actual application can take 8-10 months of preparation, so get started on your journey with the steps below.
The first step to study abroad is preparing at home well in advance. Here are some important steps:

Review the handbook below which includes policies and program information. Then talk to the Study Abroad Coordinator about your plans to determine which forms you must complete.
You may elect to travel during a semester, summer or intersession such as winter break. Programs vary in length from two weeks to a semester. Semester-long programs are recommended for students who want to receive academic credit. You may choose from semesters of 12 to 15 credit hours or trimester of 9 credit hours. Summer options include four-, six- or eight-week trips and are available for volunteer work, languages immersion, internships or for academic credit. Intersession options are two- to three-week opportunities.
