Beginning August 2013
Responsibilities: Teaching, advising and service to the college. Primary teaching responsibilities in introductory and practical application courses in event & convention management. Candidate must have the ability to build relationships in the field and identify practicum opportunities for students.Required qualifications: MBA or relevant graduate degree with at least 24 hours of undergraduate coursework in events management and/or holding certification as CSEP or CMP or related qualifications. Evidence of effective undergraduate teaching experience, professional experience in the field, willingness to teach in an innovative outcomes module based three-year undergraduate program. Preferred qualification: Doctorate or ABD by Fall 2013 in related field; ability to teach advanced integrated marketing, management or leadership courses.
