Influencing Up

Join Noah Hartsfield, manager of the Center for Career and Professional Development in this workshop as we explore the power of influence. Everyone has contributions to make and ideas worth pursuing; however, how do you advocate for your ideas in situations where you lack "formal" authority? We will look at strategies and methods for working with and influencing your work team, department, supervisor, and broader organization.

This workshop is ideal for those who are new to the professional working world and may be either in the first weeks of a new part-time/work study job, or be looking at new jobs or internships in the near future.
