Gaming & Programming Camp

(Community)

From the ground-breaking college that brought you the first varsity collegiate esports team at a women’s college comes this gaming and programming camp just for girls. With a one-two punch of gaming and programming, our Gaming & Programming (GAP) Camp is designed to help you get (more) comfortable with technology by learning basic programming skills and playing esports as a part of a team.

Half of each day will focus on learning JavaScript by creating a video game playable on any browser, including your smartphone. The remainder of the day will be spent learning and playing the Overwatch esports game. These sessions will include details on characters, maps and strategies and focus on communication and teamwork necessary to be successful in any esports game (and life!) All skill levels welcome; all students will be grouped by age and ability and will receive lots of individual attention.

Esports is a growing industry and technical skills are always in demand. But most of all, it’s fun!

Girls Only | Grades 6-11

Welcome Home Family and Friends Weekend

(Community)

Welcome Home Weekend is for everyone who is part of the Stephens community. Parents, loved ones and friends are invited to join us as we also welcome back Stephens alumnae for this special celebration.

During this time, parents and family members will have lots of opportunities to see where students live, where they learn and the amazing opportunities that are available to them on campus. For alumnae, this is a great time to reminisce with one another, network with current students and celebrate all of the reasons to love Stephens.
