Location: Historic Costume Gallery, Lela Raney Wood Mezzanine

This semester's much-anticipated exhibit features bridal gowns and wedding attire from three centuries. Highlights include a dress worn at Grace Kelly's wedding; a Vera Wang dress and a 1949 design by Ceil Chapman. Also on display will be custom designs by Stephens alumnae; multi-generational dresses worn by grandmothers, mothers and daughters; and other wedding attire such as mother-of-the-bride dresses and grooms' attire.

Drug Awareness Week

Location: The Pit, Senior Hall

Tri Sigma sorority hosts Drug Awareness Week from March 2-6. Events include:

  • Monday (March 2): Booth in The Pit. Students will have the opportunity to write an encouraging-uplifting note. At the end of the week these will be sent to an all-women’s treatment center.
  • Tuesday (March 3): Mike Wieland from The Crossroads Program will talk about drug use and addiction in Senior Hall at 6 p.m.
  • Wednesday (March 4): Grab your coupon and come on down to G & D Pizzeria for dinner! 10% of your total bill will go to the charity. 


  • Thursday (March 5): Portable puppy kissing booth! Come find your fellow students and their pups on the streets of downtown Columbia. Only $1 for a picture, cuddle or kiss!

This week is all donation based; all proceeds will go to The Crossroads Program scholarship fund.

Vintage Inspiration: The Brides of Downton Abbey
