A devised piece with stories of courageous Soviet women bombardiers during WWII. A new adaptation of an original drama developed by Butter and Serve Theatre Company. The stories of courageous women are told in a compelling fashion through simulated oral histories, storytelling, creative movement and naturalistic scenes. Squad 588, aka, the Night Witches, were the female Soviet air regiment who flew harassing, bombing missions against invading German troops in WWII.
