The Pulsera Project has arrived to brighten Stephens with art! As part of Hispanic Heritage Month and International Day of the Girl, join SOLS and Stephens by participating in this project. Pulseras (bracelets) and bolsas (bags) created by artists in Nicaragua and Guatemala will be on sale at Susie's! Pulseras are only $5 and bolsas are $10. All profits will be sent back to Nicaragua and Guatemala and invested in a wide range of social impact programs, such as sustained employment for nearly 200 artists, secondary education programs, environmental initiatives and support for other social enterprises doing impactful work in these countries.

Hill received her M.F.A. in poetry from the University of Massachusetts Boston, where she currently teaches. She has showcased her poetry on stage at the Boston Book Festival, the Massachusetts Poetry Festival, American Repertory Theater’s Resistance Mic and other venues. Her work can be found in apt, B Body, Boiler Magazine, Up the Staircase Quarterly, Word Riot, PANK, Tinderbox Poetry Journal, Winter Tangerine Review and elsewhere. She is the recipient of the 2016 St. Botolph Club Foundation Emerging Artist Award. Her chapbook, How Her Spirit Got Out, received the 2017 Jean Pedrick Chapbook Prize.
