Alumnae Association Board

The Alumnae Association Board (AAB) serves as governing board for the Alumnae Association and as adviser to the College in terms of all activities related to the association.

Responsibilities and Objectives 

Board members are responsible for:

  • Overseeing a nationwide, multi-level alumnae network
  • Assisting in accomplishing goals that have been set by the College

The AAB has three main objectives:

  • Engaging alumnae
  • Involving current students
  • Recruiting future students

The work of the AAB is focused on helping Stephens achieve its greatest potential. The board’s objective is to foster stronger connections between alumnae and the College. The AAB helps deepen volunteer commitment, assists with student recruitment and retention where appropriate, and assists in the cultivation of lifelong giving to Stephens.

Members achieve these objectives in a variety of ways including:

  • Serving as liaisons to Stephens College alumnae Clubs and Networks across the country and providing resources to those groups
  • Participating in a variety of other events and programs focused on connecting Stephens alumnae to the College

Applications are due April 1 with elections following in late April. Terms officially begin September 1. Orientation takes place during Alumnae Leaders Weekend in the Fall.
