Attending college for the first time? You're a first-year student.

Stephens defines First Time in College (FTIC) as a student who has earned fewer than 10 college credits after high school graduation. If you have earned 10 or more college credits after high school graduation, you should apply as a transfer student. If you have attended any other institution, you need to submit your transcripts from that institution even if you obtained fewer than 10 credits.

Apply in three simple steps, with no application fee.

Step 1

Fill out our online application and tell us more about you.

Enter the Stephens College Application Portal >

Step 2

Submit your high school transcript(s). You may upload your unofficial transcripts (a screenshot or photo of your academic record from your student portal) to the online application, or email them to [email protected].

Note: Before enrolling at Stephens, you will need to provide your official transcripts. Your high school counselor can help you with that. Electronic transcripts may be submitted through various electronic transcript services and can also be sent to [email protected] directly from the institution. Transcripts received through this account from a student will not be considered official.

Hard copy transcripts may be mailed to:

Step 3

Stephens College is test optional for 2024-2025. If you'd like us to consider your test scores, submit your official ACT or SAT results to Stephens College. If you would like to apply without test scores, please indicate that on your application.
