Students living on 4th floors may check-in after 7:30 a.m.

Students living on 3rd floors may check-in after 8 a.m.

Students living on 2nd floors may check-in after 9 a.m.

Students living on 1st floors may check-in after 9:45 a.m.

Relax and put your feet up while your student works through orientation. Refreshments available.

 

Navigate Your Way

9:45 a.m.-12 p.m. | Stamper Commons

After you have moved in, navigate your way through our convenient one-stop location. Use your “Passport to Stephens” as a guide to learning about services, including our counseling services, student success services, dining services, parking services, technology services (email account), the CCPD (Center for Career and Professional Development), and services for First-Generation Students and Families. You’ll also learn about Study Abroad and the national honor society Mortar Board, and get to ask questions about academics. You’ll also receive your on-campus mailbox.

Please wear dance clothes. Musical theatre students wishing to attend Dance Placement Auditions should attend Private Voice Auditions at 11:30 a.m.

 

Equestrian Meet & Greet

10:30-11:30 a.m. | Stephens Equestrian Center, 201 Old 63 N.

Equestrian students will attend a meet-and-greet with their keeper horse for the fall semester. Faculty will work alongside first-year students to ensure they are familiar with the care and individual needs of their keeper horse for the fall. Students should come dressed in appropriate barn attire. See dress code

 

Fashion Placements

10:30-11:30 a.m. | 102 Catharine Webb Studios

Arrive at 10:30 a.m. for a short Q&A. Personal interviews conducted by fashion program faculty.

Optional and only for students who feel they have advanced sewing skills. Please bring five to eight garments that show your best and most advanced work showing a variety of techniques, fabrication, a self-designed pattern, and hand and machine stitching.

 

Private Voice Auditions

10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. | Historic Senior Hall Recital Hall

Required for all students registered for APM 100: Private Voice Auditions and those interested in Private Voice Lessons.

Please prepare a 16-bar cut of a song of your choice and bring a copy of the sheet music. Accompanist will be provided, or you may sing a cappella. Students also attending Dance Placement Auditions should attend Private Voice Auditions at 11:30 a.m. Email Rusty Elder (rustye@stephens.edu) with questions.
