You've made a great decision to come to Stephens. We know you are going to have an amazing experience here, but there's also a lot to learn about college life and our community. We've put together this handy page with some of the most common questions and answers and the forms and info you need to plan for your August arrival.
We'll be updating this page throughout the spring and summer, so check back often. (If you still need to make a deposit, you can pay your deposit here.)
Your financial aid package will be mailed to you after you've completed the FAFSA. (If you are not planning to submit a FAFSA, please inform your counselor or a financial aid representative.)
Your financial aid packet will explain the financial aid you can expect from Stephens (including any scholarship awards) as well as any remaining amount that you may owe.
To finalize your aid, you’ll need to return the following items to the Office of Financial Aid:

Please note that the Office of Accounting will issue your tuition bill in June. Completing your financial aid process as early as possible with ensure the most accurate and timely billing. Those planning to complete a Living Off Campus form should do so as soon as possible. If you need to complete any financial aid forms, you can find them on our Forms page.
Residence hall assignments are based on your day of deposit. The Office of Admissions will send you an electronic housing form via email (typically in early May). We'll use this information to assign you to one of our residence halls.

Move-in Day kicks off an exciting series of orientation programs designed to acquaint you with other members of your entering class, familiarize you with the campus and campus resources, provide you with opportunities to talk to your advisers, learn more about academic requirements, and introduce you to the faculty, staff, student leaders and administrators who will help ensure you have an outstanding Stephens experience. More information on move-in day and orientation will be posted this summer.
Talk to a coach about playing for the Stars.
Student-athletes in the following (fall) programs should talk to their coaches about their move-in day: Cross Country, Soccer and Volleyball.
If you are interested in esports, complete our esports application.
If you're a first-year student, you'll be assigned one of our first-year advisers. They will work with you to develop your course schedule. If you've attended/are planning to attend an Accepted Student Day, we'll begin the process there. If you are unable to attend, we'll work with you to go over your fall schedule. This will be done throughout May and June as you finalize your deposit and enrollment.
If you are a transfer student, you'll be working with an adviser in your program. Your adviser will also go over the credits you bring with you and help you with your degree plan.
Course schedules are developed on a rolling basis following your deposit date.

The Stephens College Student Success Center is committed to offering accommodations for students with mental or physical disabilities. Those requiring service should visit our ADA/504 Services Disability page to learn about requesting services and to access forms and agreements.
Approximately two weeks before your first semester at Stephens, you will receive an email, at the email address provided when you applied, containing your Stephens username and password. Included will be information on different technology services available at Stephens and how to access them. You can also read more on our Campus Technology Resources page.
Stephens College is close to downtown and it’s easy to walk to shops and restaurants there. Campus security also offers regularly scheduled trips to local stores like Walmart. However, many students still choose to bring a car or consider other transportation options.
Parking your car on campus: Due to limited parking, all vehicles utilizing campus parking lots must be registered. Students who wish to park on campus are required to purchase a parking permit at the low cost of $78 per academic year; a valid insurance card will be required. Motorcycles also must be registered.

You will pick up your parking permit at ‘Navigate your Way’ during orientation.

Bike share: Stephens is excited to offer a free bike check out. This is available through the Safety & Security office and there is no fee. It's a great way to get around.
We encourage all students to register for our emergency notification system called RAVE. RAVE keeps us informed of severe weather in the vicinity, school cancellations, emergencies on campus and emergencies in the area. Go to this link to register: https://www.getrave.com/login/stephens
Deposited students are given access to a private Facebook group where they can meet other incoming students. Talk to your admissions counselor about getting access to this site. We have lots of other interesting feeds and social media sites anyone can follow.
