Students completing the Stephens College Physician Assistant Studies Program receive a Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree designed to train generalist practitioners with the capacity for specialty practice.

Curriculum

ARC-PA Standard: A3.17, A3.14d

The Stephens College Physician Assistant Studies program includes a 27-month curriculum with both a didactic and clinical phase. The primary goal of the didactic curriculum is to provide the knowledge and skills needed to participate effectively in clinical rotations and gain foundational knowledge for the PA profession. The primary goals of the clinical rotations are to assure that students are prepared for licensure and effective practice as a PA. Advanced placement will not be granted by the Stephens PA program. As members of a cohort program, students must progress through the entire didactic and clinical phases of the program.
