Hello everyone! Allow me to introduce myself… My name is Christie Lee and I am one of the newest members of the Creative Ink family! As a junior Marketing, Public Relations, and Advertising major at Stephens College, I was beyond ecstatic to learn I had been selected as an account executive for the firm. Now with the fresh projects and clients of the semester, our teams have been busy doing what they do best… thINKing creatively! (Get it?) And from there, of course, putting our ideas into action.
September flew by, filled with exciting events for our firm. We’ve had the opportunity to hear from two empowering ladies working as professionals in the Columbia community. Sarah and Kris shared with us their secrets to success and gave some great tips on how to thrive as a woman in the world of business. We also had the chance to tour the printing plant for the University of Missouri. Those were the biggest printers I have ever seen!
A few weeks back, our firm took a field trip downtown to a local photography studio where we had fabulous group photo shoot along with headshots. Kate, our firm’s professor, did a marvelous job directing us, the phrase “chin up, out and down” forever engrained in my head. While things got a bit silly for our expressive shot, the pictures turned out quite well and are now proudly displayed on our website.
All in all, it has been a wonderful start to school year and I have been thoroughly enjoying my new position on the team. While it keeps me busy, Creative Ink will no doubt be a major point of growth for my professional career and I cannot wait to learn even more!
