An ocean view is a common theme this year.

With spring break right around the corner, the Stephens Susies have a wide variety of places to go and people to see.

One common theme for spring break destinations is the beach. Students Holly Cook, Melinda Theidig and Hailey Johnson chose to go to Panama City Beach, Florida. They are excited for a fun road trip, though it will be a 14 hour drive, and a week of fun and sun. Chloe Tyau will spend part of her spring break on beach as well but will travel in the opposite direction when she goes to Hawaii. Tyau said she looks forward to a week of relaxation and to spend time with her grandparents who live there.

Aubree Schlepp’s spring break will be spent a little differently, however. Schlepp is taking a family vacation to the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas but because her younger sister’s spring break is a different week, she plans to go two weeks before the scheduled break. Schlepp plans to stay in Columbia to work during the week off.

While some plan to travel to far off destinations, others are happy to be able to go home and spend time with their families. No matter the plans, everyone will enjoy a relaxing spring break.
