The Agony And The Ecstasy of Steve Jobs – 7:30 p.m.
The opening night of the theater department’s new show, The Agony and the Ecstasy of Steve Jobs, is at the Warehouse Theater on 104 Willis Ave. at 7:30 p.m. This performance is a satire adaptation about the life of Steve Jobs. What’s unique about this play is the playwright advises the performers to adapt the script to make it their own. Tickets are $3 for Stephens’ students, $6 for students and seniors and $8 for general admission.

A Mizzou Dance Marathon Benefit – Roxy’s – 8:00 p.m.
If you’re looking for an easy way to support disabled children in town, here’s a great opportunity. This dance party at Roxy’s on E. Broadway features DJ LoFoSho and helps benefit the Children’s Miracle Network. There will also be raffles featuring merchandise from local musicians.

Emergence: Winter Shades to Spring Exhibit Opening
This new gallery exhibition in the Historic Costume Gallery opens February 22nd. This show will run from the end of February through May 5th. The show features women’s clothing from 1947 to 1990. The unique part about this particular exhibit is that at the beginning of the exhibit, it will feature winter wear. But as the exhibit continues after spring break, the collection will feature items found in a spring wardrobe. This exhibit is in the Mezzanine floor of LRW Hall, and is open Thursdays 5:30-8:30 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays 12-3 p.m.

Stephens College Softball vs Ottawa University – 1 p.m.
Stephens’ softball team plays their first game of the season this Saturday. They will play two games against Kansas’ Ottawa University at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. at Cosmo Park.

Biennial Fiber Arts & Quilt Show – 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
A new art show opens at the Davis Art Gallery starting February 25th and runs through March 22nd. This fiber arts and quilt show features silk paintings by Jacqueline Weatherly, quilts by Pat Owoc, and fiber arts by Leandra Spangler and Jennifer Wax.

The 10th annual True/False Film Festival is just around the corner. It’s going to be the biggest year yet with great documentaries, live music, and parties. Plus, the festival falls on our three-day weekend.
