Stephens posted this old photo on our Facebook page this week to celebrate the start of a new semester, but it’s really fitting for my week, too.
Seriously, I have had this much energy all week. This morning, I was like “What? It’s Friday? But I just got here!” (Which is also what I said last Friday.)
I’m also getting more enlightened on what a PR person does all day. Here’s a glimpse:
After I climb 56 stairs to get to my office (no really), my new job isn’t unlike my old job as a reporter. I still find story ideas. I still interview. I still write. Only now, I do it for new audiences and for specific purposes. (Oh, and I don’t make people mad anymore. Turns out, I kinda like not making people mad.)
I also still write feature stories about interesting people and happenings. Check on our homepage for those; I plan to start posting them in the future.
And when I say “future,” I mean Monday. See you then.
