How early should I contact SC Events prior to my celebration?
Full-service events may be booked as far as a year in advance, but must
be booked at least two weeks prior to the event. A preliminary meeting
regarding your event is always helpful in making your special day a success.
How do I reserve a venue?
To reserve a venue you must sign and return a contract along with a 25
percent room rental deposit. All event reservations are subject to availability
at the time the signed contract and deposit are received. Your deposit
will be credited to your room rental total.
What is included with the venue rental?
Your rental fee includes the use of the venue for the day. Each location
includes tables, chairs and audio/visual equipment. The SC Events catering
team provides china, mirrors and standard linens. Room rental prices do
not include catering service charges.*
What does the catering price include?
Your all-inclusive catering price covers everything you need, from linens to cake-cutting.
Pricing is based on a full-service meal; à la carte items are subject
to additional charges.*
Is special event insurance required?
Your wedding day is your special day, and it should be perfect. One way
to take some of the worry out of your big day and protect your investment
is to purchase wedding insurance to protect you from unforeseen circumstances
such as severe weather or illness. Additionally, SC Events requires proof
of liability coverage for your wedding and/or reception. Wedding insurance
will satisfy this requirement. Liability insurance provides protection
for host liquor liability and covers you in the event of alcohol-related
incidents, personal injuries or property damage.
