Event Spaces at Stephens

Located in downtown Columbia, Missouri, on the Stephens College campus, SC Events offers a variety of versatile venues and a team of experienced professionals to help make your event a success.

SC Events has the perfect space for all types of events- from small meetings and seminars to large conferences and receptions. No matter the size of your group, you will receive the same high-quality service.

Our all-inclusive prices, both for venue reservations and for catering services, will make budgeting quick and easy. Our friendly and talented staff will make your event an enjoyable experience, from the planning stages to the actual day.

Kimball Ballroom

The Kimball Ballroom's versatile 6,000-square-foot floor plan can accommodate up to 300 guests seated at tables, or up to 400 guests in alternative arrangements. The space can also be configured to accommodate small sessions or several work groups.

This venue is perfect for seminars and presentations, with an in-house sound system with wireless microphones, a digital projector with a 16-by-12-foot retractable screen, programmable lighting and automatic window shades- all at no extra charge.

Built in 1938 and restored in 2006, the Ballroom is also a beautiful space for social occasions, with a vintage soda fountain area and original chandeliers that light the room in red, blue, pink or traditional white.

The Macey Lounge, located on the north side of the ballroom, may serve as a pre-function area and is also a great space to host a social hour or hold a separate program.

Historic Senior Hall

The Recital Hall is a great location for seminars, presentations and small social events. The hall's 19th-century decor, hardwood stage and piano, and plenty of natural light create a pleasant ambiance for formal gatherings or relaxed conversation. The space accommodates approximately 100 guests at tables, or 120 guests in alternative arrangements.

Senior Hall Board Room

This traditional boardroom provides seating for 25 guests. Tucked away in a quiet corner of Stephens College campus, this space is great for meetings and presentations, or it can serve as the ideal central hub for brainstorming sessions or retreats, with the possibility of using the adjacent Parlors as break-out rooms.

Windsor Auditorium

A traditional auditorium featuring a hardwood stage and grand piano, Windsor provides theater-style seating for up to 335 guests. Fully equipped to meet your audio/visual needs, the space includes a screen and a variety of projection capabilities. The adjacent Columbia Foyer is perfect as a pre-function area for mingling and networking.

* Silverthorne Arena features a spectacular Maple floor and can be used for athletic events or social gatherings up to 500 people.

* Stephens College has several classrooms and multimedia rooms available for use for up to 120 people.
