Stephens CSM Privacy Policy
The Office of Career Development has available to current students and graduates of Stephens College an online employment database, known as Stephens CSM. This system is a component of NACElink Network which is a comprehensive, career management system offered through National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE).
Student and alumni data are stored on NACElink Network servers and policies protecting the usage of this data are covered in the NACElink Privacy Policy.
NACElink Network is used by several college career centers across the United States. All information is used to assist users with career services, such as finding internships and relaying information on other career-related topics. This data may also be used for administrative reports in which all information provided is kept confidential.
Students and alumni should be aware of the dangers of releasing personal information when applying for positions and are encouraged to thoroughly research employers. Students and alumni are strongly advised not to disclose Social Security numbers, credit card information or other financial records. It is further noted that students and alumni should be careful not to apply to any positions asking for a recent photo or similar source of identification during the application process. Jobs on NACElink Network are not screened by NACE and may or may not be screened by the Office of Career Development at Stephens College.
