Stephens College RSS Feeds & Podcasts
What is RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is an XML-based format that allows websites
to distribute content to people who subscribe to feeds. Using an RSS
aggregator, readers can draw in feeds from all over the web into the
one program for easy viewing.
How do I view the feeds?
Simply download any RSS reader (see below for examples) and you're good to go.
- SharpReader (Win)
- NetNewsWire (Mac)
- Straw (Lnx)
- Bloglines (Web)
- AmphetaDesk (All)
- Google Reader (Web)
Feeds can also be read on the Web via free services like Feedburner.
Some Web browsers, such as Mozilla Firefox, support RSS subscription internally.
