Annie Potts visit: Weeks 1 and 2
Since
Annie Potts' arrival to campus on Nov. 9, she has been busy rehearsing
for her role as "Desiree" in "A Little Night Music"
with students and faculty, and participating in acting seminars
and other campus events. She also
has spent time reading to the children in the Stephens College Children's
School. (Pictured left, Annie reads "Lilly's Purple Plastic
Purse" on Nov. 13 in the Children's School).
After a weeklong Thanksgiving break with her family
in Los Angeles, Potts will return to campus Dec. 1 through the end
of the Playhouse performances of “Night Music.”
The play runs Dec. 5-6, 10-13 at 7:30 p.m. and Dec. 7 at 2 p.m.
in the Macklanburg Playhouse, 100 Willis Ave. It is a romantic,
achingly beautiful musical that deals with the universal subject
of love in all its wondrous, humorous and ironic transformations.
