To kick off our 55th season, step back in time to 1958 to Springfield High’s senior prom with unforgettable songs from our ensemble of love-struck teens, Betty Jean, Cindy Lou, Missy and Suzy, who yearn for that ever-desired title of Prom Queen. Classics like “Mr. Sandman”, “Leader of the Pack”, and “RESPECT” will leave you humming right along, wanting more and more from this “marvelous” opener.

Book of Days

Beau Jest

Ravenscroft

Don Nigro’s witty parody of British secrecy reminds audiences of “Clue!” as they join Inspector Ruffling while he investigates a stableman’s murder. The time is early 1900’s; the place is the isolated Ravenscroft manor. Mystery ensues as the five wacky residents cannot agree on the series of events, leaving Ruffling to uncover much more than he bargained for in this enchanting whodunit.

The Liar

Adapted from a 17th century play of the same name, David Ives weaves a deviously funny tale of a rogue who visits Paris and falls in love with a girl who is convinced that he is someone else. One critic called this one, “Astonishingly fresh, funny, and totally appealing.” It’s a farce and it has glorious costumes, what else can you ask for?

The Last Romance

As one critic says, this “…golden-years love story casts a bewitching spell.” Tony Award-winner Joe DiPietro created this beautiful play about an elderly couple who meet at a Hoboken dog run. Ralph enjoys the feeling of a new crush, and uses his new-found charm to entice Carol, a distant and elegant woman. We anticipate that Jana Robbins and Rob Doyen will light up the stage with this heart-warming romance.

There is no other way to end our 55th season! With unparalleled music by Kander and Ebb featuring favorites such as “All That Jazz” and “Mr. Cellophane,” this musical, which was also a hit movie, focuses on celebrity criminals and corruption of criminal justice. Bob Fosse, the original Broadway choreographer in 1975, created this legendary masterpiece, and we are sure it will not disappoint! OST has waited a long time to give you this gift.
