Communicating with Animals
In early April, Stephens welcomed back to campus Joan Ranquet ’82, an internationally renowned animal communicator and best-selling
author of “Communication with All Life, Revelations of an Animal Communicator.” For her ability to relate to dogs, cats and horses, she’s made appearances on “The Today Show” and “Good Morning America” and appeared in numerous publications including The Los Angeles Times.
Ranquet, who uses telepathic communication (“the transference of pictures words and feelings”), spent much of her visit at the Stephens Stables, where she helped Stephens faculty and students communicate with the resident horses and dogs. She also shared her techniques with pet owners during a free public presentation on April 7 in the Kimball Ballroom of Lela Raney Wood Hall. A Q&A followed the event.
