On April 5, Stephens College held a grand-opening for its Student Union in the East Dining Hall of Stamper Commons. The Student Union features areas where students can play games (like pool, ping pong and foosball), relax on comfy sofas and talk with friends or study, and watch television/movies or use gaming systems.
Stephens’ SGA (Student Government Association) played an instrumental role in creating the Student Union. Under the leadership of Stephens senior Mady Horn ’12, the organization picked out the furniture, carpets and wall décor.
Tours of the Student Union will be available for prospective/new students and their families during Transfer Day on Saturday, April 14 and at Registration Day on Friday, April 27. To attend either event, please contact the Stephens Office of Admissions at (573) 876-7207 or [email protected].
