Pulse: 67th Annual Student Designer Fashion Show
On Saturday, April 16, 2011, students from the Stephens College Fashion Show Production and Coordination class produced "Pulse" under the direction of instructor Anne Churchill.
Pulse comprised student work from the 2010-11 school year including swimwear, indoor cardio wear, weekend wear, career wear, tailored designs and individual collections from senior designers.
Pulse also featured socially-conscious designs from Stephens’ trademarked line “Breaking the Pattern of Breast Cancer,” fair-trade fashions from the “Breaking the Pattern of Human Trafficking” line and little black dresses from the “Breaking the Pattern of Domestic Violence” line designed to raise awareness for a local emergency women’s shelter.
The Jury of Selection was responsible for determining the show's winners in each category. The Jury included professionals and alumnae from the fashion industry such as model Karlie Kloss and Brianne Ratliff '03 from Armani Exchange.
