TO LECTURE AT STEPHENs COLLEGE
COLUMBIA, Mo.—Stephens College will welcome MADE IN USA CERTIFIED® co-founder/president Julie Reiser ’92 to campus from Oct. 3-4, 2012. She will offer the message of buying American in a lecture titled “Red, White and Blue is the NEW Black” from 6-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 3 in the Kimball Ballroom of Lela Raney Wood (LRW) Hall, 6 N. College Ave. A Meet and Greet with refreshments will be held from 5:30-6 p.m. Both events are free and open to the public.
Reiser, who graduated from Stephens with a B.A. in Business Administration, also will speak in several fashion and marketing classes during her visit. For more information, visit www.stephens.edu/madeintheusa.
Stephens’ Costume Museum and Research Library’s “Civic Virtue: Wearing Red, White and Blue” gallery exhibit will be open before and after the lecture on the mezzanine level above the Kimball Ballroom in LRW (5-6 p.m. and 7:30-8 p.m.).
