Stephens CollegE NAMED Get educated “Best buy” foR Master’s in Curriculum & InstructioN

COLUMBIA, Mo. –Stephens College’s Master of Education in Curriculum & Instruction has been named among the Top 12 best online degrees from accredited universities that offer affordable online degrees, according to GetEducated.com, an online education expert and leader in distance learning. A “Best Buy” ranking indicates that the degree program has been independently reviewed and found to offer a high-quality online degree at a cost well below the national average.

The demand for qualified, master’s-educated K-6 teachers continues to grow. Stephens offers an affordable, flexible, accelerated 13-month program designed specifically for teaching professionals who are classroom teachers. Stephens’ Master of Education in Curriculum & Instruction provides convenient online classes in fall and spring, combined with on-campus courses in the summer.

“Stephens College has long had a reputation for providing our students with an outstanding education,” said Dr. Annette Digby, Vice President for Academic Affairs. “Our high-quality curriculum derives its strength from knowledgeable faculty within the Stephens College Teacher Education Program, which also offers an undergraduate major as well as an acclaimed lab school for children from pre-school through fifth grade.”

Stephens College remains the second-oldest women’s college in the country, but accepts both men and women into the various graduate and online course offerings. Students can achieve a traditional Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master in Strategic Leadership (MSL), a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in either Counseling or Curriculum and Instruction, or a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Administration (HIA). Stephens’ online courses were named a “Best Buy” by GetEducated.com and offer flexibility for today’s working adult. Learn more at www.stephens.edu/gcs.
