2012-2013 DAVIS ART GALLERY SCHEDULE
COLUMBIA, Mo.—Stephens College announces the 2012-2013 Davis Art Gallery schedule. The gallery, located at the corner of Walnut and Ripley streets, is open to the public from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday-Friday or by appointment. Admission is free. Show-Me: Imaging Missouri
Aug. 24-Oct. 11, 2012
Opening reception: 4-6 p.m., Aug. 24
An all-photography show comprised entirely from images taken in Missouri, the “Show-Me State.” This show will feature the artwork of Deanna Dikeman, Kevin Dingman, Mark Fisher, Anne Lindgren and Billie Stock.
Oct. 19-Dec. 7, 2012
Opening reception: 4-6 p.m., Oct. 19
Paintings and mixed-media work by Claire Stigliani and Eleanor Borelli feature a unique fusion of pop and fantasy that escapes easy classification.
Sharon Harper: Mapping Ephemera
Jan. 11-Feb. 15, 2013
Opening reception: 4-6 p.m., Jan. 11
A solo exhibition of complexly layered mixed-media two-dimensional constructions and minimally-hued tactile ceramic sculptures by the award-winning artist and educator Sharon Harper.
Biennial Fiber Arts & Quilt Show

Opening reception: 4-6 p.m., March 1
This inaugural biennial exhibition will showcase the contemporary quilts of Pat Owoc, silk paintings by Jacqueline Weatherly, and the fiber arts of Leandra Spangler.
BFA Capstone and Graphic Arts Show

Opening reception: 4-6 p.m., April 5; closing reception: 4-5 p.m., May 4
A capstone exhibition featuring the work of graduating seniors from the schools of Fashion and Design and Organizational Leadership and Strategic Communication.
