2011-2012 DAVIS ART GALLERY SCHEDULE
COLUMBIA, Mo.—Stephens College announces the 2011-2012 Davis Art Gallery schedule. The gallery, located at the corner of Walnut and Ripley streets, is open to the public from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday-Friday or by appointment. Admission is free. Art to the Making

Opening reception: 4-6 p.m., Aug. 26
Davis Art Gallery’s first show of the fall semester explores process as its primary theme. Artwork made using a unique process or idea utilized in its creation will be featured. Alexandra Robinson, Khara Koffel, Ellen W. Wolf, and Kerry Hirth will participate in the exhibition.
Calling Their Shots
Oct. 21-Dec. 9, 2011
Opening reception: 4-6 p.m., Oct. 21
A photography show promoting varied genres, technical approaches and esthetics by five women artists: Jamie Kreher, Jane Linders, Anne Lindgren, Janice Nesser-Chu and Billie Stock.
Drawn, Cut, Torn & Pasted
Jan. 13- Feb. 24, 2012
Opening reception: 4-6 p.m., Jan. 13
Paper is the common primary material that will be emphasized in this Davis Art Gallery exhibition. See how Mark Langeneckert, Mary Lamboley, Joyce Yarbrough and Deborah Huelsbergen utilize the material. Drawing, mixed-media, cut-paper silhouettes, and torn-paper constructions will be shown.

A capstone exhibition featuring graduating seniors from the School of Design and Fashion.
