Distracted Driving





Western Riding News

Stephens Western riders, horses and coach Karen Craighead represented the College with a very successful day at the American Quarter Horse Association Maple Leaf Circuit. Molly Mellinger and Hershey (Neverenoughchocolate) won first place, and Ashly Cerveny and Hummer (Radical Rendezvous) received third place in Novice Amateur Western Pleasure. Ashly and Hummer also won Novice Amateur Horsemanship and placed second in Trail. Congratulations on a great day!


Student Notices
Fashion Internship
There will be a mandatory meeting on Wednesday, April 11 at 5 p.m. in Dudley 210 for all fashion students completing a for-credit internship this summer. You must attend this meeting if you are planning on completing your for-credit internship this summer. Contact Courtney Cothren with any questions.

Parallel Views: Juxtapositions of Art, Fashion, Time and Place

Through May 5

Historic Costume Gallery, mezzanine floor of Lela Raney Wood Hall
Both fashion and art fall prey to the gaze of the viewer. Both are open to interpretation. "Parallel Views: Juxtapositions of Art, Fashion, Time and Place" is set up to give the patron a chance to see items of dress from the Stephens College Costume Museum and Research Library paired with selected pieces from the Stephens Fine Arts Collection.
